Gratitude Grounding

It's easy to feel a bit overwhelmed when you're in a moment of endless possibilities for your next chapter. To help you feel secure in uncertain times, make a list of the things that you're grateful will continue to be in your life for the next year (or five years), so you'll have something to reference to help you stay grounded moving forward.

These could be things like:

  • Listing the names of your closest friends.

  • Listing the names of your supportive family members.

  • Noting skills you've already learned and feel confident in.

  • Hobbies you enjoy that you will keep up outside of work.

  • Little daily delights you can always look forward to (such as your morning cup of tea).
