Meet Our Founder

After designing numerous leadership programs in the nonprofit sector for young professionals and college students, Alystar was inspired to create Aspire Brighter to empower the next generation of change-makers.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Aly brings decades of experience empowering young minds to meet their full potential through cohort opportunities and personalized mentorship. She has taught several courses and led countless presentations at prestigious universities and organizations, and has worked with elected officials advocating for ethical policies on the state, national, and international levels.

Aly holds a MSc in Public Policy and Philosophy from the London School of Economics, and a BA in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

When she’s not busy nerding out on career development, Aly spends her time hiking, camping, indulging in too much mac ‘n cheese, cuddling with her best friend’s cats, and re-watching the best episodes of Parks and Recreation for the thousandth time.
